Changes

The changes are presented in no particular order.

  • updated the game engine to the latest version
  • added Easter Eggs, and they can be tracked in the 📕 Tome of Mildly Useful Knowledge
  • small fix on Vleed's mouth
  • small tooltip text fix (thanks Karpmagi)
  • fixed broken tooltip Corn Butter in the Tome
  • fixed some missing quotes in a dialogue
  • fixed tooltip appearing before tooltip object (thanks Karpmagi)
  • fixed credits buttons that link to our website / Patreon / Discord / Twitter (thanks x) which ended up with having to remake the button manager system
  • fixed certain dialogue objects not fading / appearing instantly / appearing delayed
  • added black outline on the Vampiric Vision outline since many people pointed out it's hard to see in some circumstances
  • optimized & replaced some assets, improved some FX
  • added SFX for inventory open/close and for currency gain
  • fixed minor scrollbar inconsistent behavior in Character Panels
  • fixed issue with Chaos rolling over full amount from The Horny Bull bar to Bat Rock 🦇 platform
  • fixed issue with loading the game from a dice roll which ends up loading some dice roll UI
  • fixed issue with dialogue not appearing after user loads the game in the Crossroads and goes around the Cornfield, Vleed is no longer confused about what the hell just happened
  • fixed issue with loading the game while the Mapkin is active which would not allow other things to open such as the Tome, the Character Panel, etc
  • fixed issue with opening the Tome at the same time as the Mapkin which resulted into some undesired Tomkin effect
  • fixed issue with loading the game when the Tome is present which resulted into angering the Demon within the Tome and that's no good
  • added cursor hand icon for Character Panel scroll bar
  • The Pimp and his moron squad's horses are faster now so Vleed cannot enjoy himself that much, also they yell like idiots when barging in
  • fixed issue with audio being lower volume after a fade but opening up the Main Menu would restore the initial volume of the audio based on settings

A bunch of improvements, but there's room for more!

We try to spend our game dev time well (so about 8h a day, 7 days a week) but there's just so much that two people can achieve fast enough.

We try to fix all the bugs, polish and bring improvements, add content, game design, code, write, make art.... write here... and more 😅.
