And a Merry Exciting New Year too!

Another year has zoomed by 📆, packed with accomplishments both big and small, and we're thrilled to share our journey with you.

🌌 SkyRanch.Life Updates 🌱

This year saw SkyRanch.Life progress to version 0.2.1, offering 30–40 minutes of quirky and immersive content for curious adventurers.

The latest version added support for complex Quest Tracking using the Tome of Mildly Useful Knowledge, as well as other tome-related entries for lore-lovers 📖.

But the biggest update is still in the works! Expected in Q1 2025, this ambitious update will be available to our mid and top-tier Patrons.

💻 Countless hours of development have gone into creating robust RPG mechanics while keeping SkyRanch's signature quirky-weird vibe intact.

🛠️ Here's what's coming:

• Item generation, both handcrafted treasures for those special unique things such as Flailing Cheeky Tentacle ^{(name subject to change)} as well as randomly generated gear for the crafting system and for hardcore min-maxers or hybrid spec lovers. Maybe you want to throw Healing Curses left and right, we don't judge.

• Equipment: putting clothes on just to take them back off again. We've added a quirk to the equipment system however, and that is that you can stack it.

• Loot drops based on weight lists in the form of items on the ground as well as loot chests.

• Defense caps per level with diminishing returns. The game isn't fun when the enemies have no chance. But as the player, if you decide otherwise, you will be able to tailor the experience to your liking as we'll have a comprehensive guide for changing stats, values, formulas, etc. At the end of the day, if you don't enjoy yourself playing it, there's no point doing so.

• 💍 Real-life milestones:
  • Got married! ❤️
  • Earned a driving license! 🚗
  • Befriended hospital staff (long story 🤕).
• 🏢 New Business!
  We officially launched Smol Spaghettorium SRL, a place to house all our creative chaos! Starting a business in another language (and country) was tricky, but we made it! 💪
• 🎨 Creative Expansion:
  
  • Invested in two (semi?!) professional printers and a cutting machine.
  • Began crafting fine art prints, stickers, and stationery. ✂️
  • Sent a bunch of goodies to our Patrons, all of which (mostly) arrived on time.
• 🛍️ Etsy Shop Etsy Shop: Open for business!
• Nightwalkers got some extra love with a bunch of updates. The game engine has been updated to the latest version which gave us a lot more room to work with. A new enemy is now crawling around the fields: the Mutated Rat Gang 🐀🐁🐀
• Updates to keep everything playable and fun.
• We ditched ads across all games and websites for a better experience.
• 🎉 JeFawk's Smol Spaghettorium Website Done in Two Days! 💻 The grind was real, and so were the backaches and neck aches 😟.
• The website overhaul was a must since we've started applying to participate in conventions 🎪✨. Fingers crossed 🤞—we might get a booth to showcase our creativity next year!
  
  And guess what? The deadline for the application is the last day of the year—talk about cutting it close! 😅
